Kate has been an Acupuncturist since 2000; she graduated from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NAIOM). She has been a Primary Care and Family Practice Physician Assistant since 1988, with a degree from Northeastern University. Kate enjoys bringing the Chinese holistic view of medicine to her patients. She supports her patients as they overcome health concerns while learning to adopt healthier lifestyles that augment their health. Her treatments are individualized and seek to balance mind, body and spirit. She is able to use her knowledge of western medicine to understand her patients' health concerns and treatments.
Her practice of Acupuncture employs a range of traditional Chinese medicine techniques. Kate also incorporates sound into her practice. She was trained in Acutonics® by founders Donna Carey and Marjorie De Muynck. Kate works as a partner with her patients, helping them achieve their best health with a combination of Eastern and Western modalities and lifestyle changes.
Kate has lived in Olympia since 1984. She enjoys children, dogs, gardening, bicycling, and nature.
